  • Jesi Ostrowsky

Title/Role: Owner Shining Heart LLC, 200 hr Certified Yoga Instructor, Group Fitness Trainer, Functional Health, Gut & Nutrition Specialist

Beyond anything, the most important role I will ever hold, is being a proud mother of 3 incredible sons. My youngest son has Autism, Epilepsy & Type 1 Diabetes and he is an absolute warrior that inspires me every single day!

My journey and love for this realm of Health & Fitness began 11 years ago when I joined a local fitness studio. Within 12 months, I lost 50 lbs, and soon after became a world champion athlete in Natural Bodybuilding. It all stemmed from a simple act of curiosity - wondering just how far I could go with my body. That experience was so empowering and transformational that I became a Fitness & Nutrition coach to teach others what I had learned. Along that journey, I found yoga, and I became a yoga instructor to teach others the art of mindfulness and mind/body/soul connection. After my son had brain surgery in 2019, I used yoga to help him regain balance and motor function and to calm his body so it could feel safe and heal. When he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a few months after his surgery, it inspired me to pursue a path as a Functional Medicine Practitioner to better understand how the body works and heals naturally.

We currently live in a special-needs community, and I have learned to navigate the ins & outs of services that help me to support my son’s quality of life and independent life skills. As a mother and caregiver, I have become a strong voice and advocate for those with special needs, and healthy living. I teach Yoga & Mindfulness classes to adults with disabilities on the IRIS program, and I have been working 1:1 and in small groups with children of special needs through CLTS, to teach yoga and nervous system calming techniques. It has been a dream of mine to one day own a yoga studio and build a community where I can serve those with special needs in a much deeper and connected way. I feel extremely blessed to be collaborating with Meshan to share all of my experience, and skill sets, where they are most needed, within this inspiring and expansive community!

My passion is to provide a personal level of support to those with special needs, and their families. My ultimate goal is to create a safe, supportive, and fun community that encourages physical well-being, social interaction, and personal empowerment through movement and mindfulness, while learning how to make healthy choices, and connections with everyone (and everything) around us! :)

My favorite quote: “Keep Smilin’” - my dad.

Fun Fact: I love butterflies and hugging trees. I binge watch Grey’s Anatomy in my down time.

  • Anita Walters

Title/Role: 200 hr Certified Yoga Instructor, Certified Kids Yoga Instructor, Trauma-Informed Certified

With over 17 years of experience working with children, I have worked as a Licensed Day Care Provider and Certified Kids Yoga Teacher with advanced training as a Certified Trauma-Informed 200 hr Yoga Instructor. My professional background also includes certification as a Hot Stone Massage Therapist, gained through work in a wellness center—allowing me to approach care through a holistic, mind-body lens.

Supporting and nurturing children has always been more than a career for me—it is a calling. I am deeply passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where children feel seen, valued, and empowered. My daughter affectionately calls me “The Kid Whisperer,” a reflection of the natural connection I form with children and the trust they so readily offer. I believe every child carries inherent strength and compassion, and when given the right support, they naturally rise to meet their potential.

My work is grounded in connection, presence, and intention. Through movement, mindfulness, and regulation-based practices, I help children build confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience—skills that extend far beyond our time together.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy riding my Harley during the summer months, hiking, and spending time immersed in nature. Most of all, I cherish time with my family and creating meaningful, lasting memories together.

My guiding philosophy is simple and powerful: “YAGOTTAWANNA” - because meaningful growth always begins with willingness.

Fun fact: I am one of the easiest people to scare. I will literally scream like a banshee at the most ridiculous things.
